Joseph Merhi

President of the Rotary Club Nicosia-Ledra 2011-2012

 Joseph Merhi was born in Beirut and relocated to Nicosia at the age of 11. He is the offspring of a Lebanese father and an Alexandrian born Cypriot mother. He is married to Maria and a father of two: Ramon age 10 and Andreas age 7.

 After graduating from the Grammar School of Nicosia he studied Computer Science at Reading University and MBA at the CIIM.

 He is the General Manager of the AGC Group, a leading building contractor with operations in Cyprus and Romania.

 Joseph joined Rotary as a member of the Rotary Club Nicosia Ledra in 2007 and held the following posts.

• Year 09/10                        –  Secretary
• Year 10/11            –  Chairman of TRF
• Dec. 2010              –  Incoming President
• Year 11/12            –  President
