Special ceremony on 25 September 2003 for delivering to the Rehabilitation Centre of the Heart Patients’ Association of Nicosia Medical Equipment of total value $12.000 bought through Matching Grant No. 21711

The Rotary Club of Nicosia- Lefkothea (contribution $3.000) in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Santa Cruz, California, USA, (contribution $3.000) and the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International (contribution $6.000)

During a special Ceremony on 25 September 2003 in the Rehabilitation Centre the 2001-2002 President of the Rotary Club of Nicosia- Lefkothea Christodoulos Achilleoudis delivered to the President of the Heart Patients’ Association of Nicosia Mr Pavlos Dinglis the above basic equipment bought through Matching Grant.

Present were the 2003-2004 President of the Rotary Club of Nicosia-Lefkothea, Mikis Costa, and the 2002-2003 President Nicolaos Philippou.

Also present were Dr John Papadopoulos, who is in charge of the Rehabilitation Centre, as well as Members of the Association’s Board.

Additionally is mentioned that to the above Rehabilitation Centre of the Heart Patients’ Association of Nicosia were also donated during the rotary year 2001-2002

As a conclusion, can be said that this Heart Patient’s Rehabilitation Centre in Nicosia, something unique in Cyprus, is almost totally created with the contribution of the Rotary Club of Nicosia-Lefkothea.
